Hive automatically creates shipping labels, packing lists, and customs documents (when applicable) for your orders if the shipment is organized via Hive delivery or freight services. If you organize a pick-up for your order then Hive only creates packing lists for your orders.
If you require a specific label to be attached to your order, please attach it to the Hive App. Make sure to select the appropriate document type and provide details in the order notes about how the label should be used. You can find more details on the FAQ page "How do I place a B2B order?" under the 2nd point in subpoint 3.
If you need the dimensions of the order before generating parcel or pallet labels, here are the details that need to be followed:
- While creating the order, follow these steps:
- Select the "Parcel" and/or "Pallet" checkbox under "I will provide the following labels" in the order instructions section based on your requirements.
- Do not upload labels as "Parcel label" or "Pallet label" document type under the "Documents" section.
- Once the order is packed, a "Parcel label(s) missing" and/or "Pallet label(s) missing" issue will be generated in the order, depending on your selection and the labels provided. This will be displayed as an open issue in the Hive app for your order. In the order, you can see how many shipments are created for the order, along with the weight and dimensions of each shipment. To upload the labels, click on the "Resolve" button in the red box.
- Once labels are uploaded, click on the "Save" button, and the following events will occur:
- The issue will be automatically resolved
- The Hive team will be notified about the uploads
- Documented will be printed and attached to the order
- The order will be shipped
⚠️ Please note that if you request the SKUs in your order to be relabelled with new barcodes, you must add the barcodes as a document attached to the order by selecting "SKU barcode" as a document type when creating the order. This will be invoiced as an extra task, by the hourly rate specified in your contract, and can also delay the fulfillment of an order by up to 5 business days. Please consider this for the pick-up date if you are organizing the shipment of the order.
