The Packaging feature gives you direct control over how Hive packs your D2C orders.
This feature allows you to personalize your packaging experience at scale, maintaining brand control while reducing manual setup effort. You define the rules, and Hive applies them consistently across thousands of order combinations.
It consists of three components:
1. Portfolio
Portfolio provides a centralized and transparent overview of all packaging materials available to your brand, including usage metrics and inventory visibility.
It defines which packaging materials Hive is allowed to use (depending on your plan):
- Custom packaging
- Hive Standard Material (boxes, envelopes)
- Filling material
- Tape
- Stickers
- Silk paper
2. Product Groups
Groups SKUs together so packaging rules can be managed efficiently.
3. Rules & Predictions
Shows how orders are currently being packed and allows you to define rules for specific order combinations when needed.
