For shipments to Switzerland, you can choose between shipping with DHL International (= more expensive and your customers might face customs fees) and MeinEinkauf (= less expensive and your Swiss customers have the same delivery experience as your German customers).

MeinEinkauf is cheaper and neither your customers nor you need to pay for customs fees

• Shipping to Switzerland with MeinEinkauf has the following benefits:

  • The price in your contract for MeinEinkauf already includes the costs for customs fees and taxes, meaning that you also will not have to pay for them!

  • Electronic transmission of customs information ensures smooth and comprehensive documentation

• MeinEinkauf makes this possible by acting as an exporter and briefly taking ownership of the goods. Therefore, we recommend to add the following to your T&Cs:

  Lieferungen in die Schweiz und der im umsatzsteuerlichen Sinne der Schweiz zugeordneten Länder werden über einen Zwischenhändler, die Mein Einkauf GmbH, abgewickelt. Die Mein Einkauf GmbH stellt die ordnungsgemäße Verzollung und Rechnungslegung sicher. Die Lieferung erfolgt vollständig verzollt zum im Shop genannten Endpreis, bei Lieferung fallen keine zusätzlichen Einfuhrabgaben an."
