All the items received in our fulfillment center are carefully inspected and classified according to your return settings (https://portal.hive.app/settings/return-rules). However, there is the possibility that the customer selected a return reason that does not match how the return was processed in the Hive App.
Under these circumstances, this mismatch could stem from an incorrectly selected return reason in when the customer requested the return or from a human mistake from processing the order.
Please note that once a return has been processed in the Hive App, it is not possible for us to retrieve any individual items that were included in the order, as they might have been disposed of or added to a storage box with hundreds of units of the same SKU. Nonetheless, rest assured that we verify this periodically with inventory controls and quality checks when processing the returns, so any defective item will clearly be spotted and discarded at a later point. This also applies if the return information at the time of the return processing says otherwise.
