We operate based on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) logic and plan our capacity on a weekly basis. Due to the intricate and manual nature of the kitting process, we recommend planning your kitting orders at least three weeks before you expect the final SKUs to be ready for fulfillment. Please review the Kitting SLA section for more details.
- Troubleshooting issues:
- Out of Stock and Not Enough Stock: There is not enough inventory in stock of one or more component SKUs to complete the order. We recommend that you restock the SKUs; if you’d like us to process the order sooner, feel free to edit the order to reduce the Final SKU quantity or the Component SKUs.
- Unclear Instructions: If you see this issue, it means that the step-by-step instructions were either left blank or do not clearly demonstrate the task you’d like us to carry out. We strongly recommend including a video of the kitting process, and if this is not possible, describe the kitting process step-by-step in the Instructions field. After you edit the kitting definition, the order will be reviewed again.
- Material Issue: If you see this issue, it means that there was a material or practical issue preventing us from carrying out this kitting order. For example, the products are too big for the packaging you’ve chosen, or the packaging does not stay closed. Please note that we do not offer label removal since the quality of this cannot be guaranteed (instead, we can stick new labels on top of old labels, but not peel-off labels). Therefore, a Material Issue will be applied to your order if it includes peeling off stickers. To avoid this issue in the future, you can also place a small order to your office to create a test kit before creating a new kitting order.
