From the Hive App, navigate to the "Inventory" section, and then select the "Kitting" tab located in the top-left corner of the screen.
To create a new order, select the button in the top right-hand corner.
Kitting Order Details: This is where you will select your Final SKU (this is the final kitted product). You can search by SKU name or ID. This is also where you tell us the quantity that you would like us to procure.
Kitting Order Definition: Think of this like a recipe (ingredients and instructions).
This is where you can add all your component SKUs (the products that make up the kit) and specify the quantity per kit (final SKU). Under each component SKU, you can add an optional note such as “Remove plastic wrapper” or “Attach a Hive barcode to cover up the existing barcode.”
Videos/Pictures: Ideally, you can provide visual instructions in the form of a short video. We recommend you upload the video to Google Drive and share it publicly.
If you cannot provide any visual instructions (video or pictures), please make sure to provide clear written instructions. If you would like us to attach a specific barcode to the products, don’t forget to upload the file here and make sure the barcode placement is clear in your instructions.
Submit Order. After submitting your order, we will review it to make sure the instructions are clear. New kitting orders are reviewed every Friday. Once a kitting order is reviewed, the order will be carried out by the end of the following calendar week.
