When a Restocking Shipment arrives, we check it against the corresponding entry in the Hive App. If we are unable to match the shipment, it is categorized as an "unannounced Restocking Shipment." This could occur due to:
- Missing Restocking Shipment label, making it impossible to identify the shipment.
- The Restocking Shipment was not created or was cancelled.
Issues with Unannounced Restocking Shipments:
- Restocking will not commence within the standard 48-hour timeframe.
- The 48-hour restocking process will only begin once the shipment is marked as "arrived" on the Hive App.
In such cases, we will notify you and request the creation of a new Restocking Shipment to declare the SKUs received or ask you to identify the shipment if the Restocking Shipment label is missing. While these shipments cannot be prioritized if they were not announced in advance, we will always strive to restock shipments before the SLA.
To avoid delays, we strongly recommend creating a Restocking Shipment in the Hive App immediately after placing an order with your supplier and forwarding the Restocking Shipment label to ensure it is attached to the shipment.
Issues with Unannounced SKUs:
In some cases, we receive extra units in a Restocking Shipment that are not listed; we categorize these as “Unannounced SKUs.” These units cannot be restocked immediately. In such instances, we will reach out to request a Restocking Shipment ID to proceed with restocking the units.
During this time, the units are held in the inbound area, where they are at a higher risk of being lost or damaged. Please note that in such cases, we cannot offer compensation for any losses or damages.
Additionally, if we are unable to restock the units, we reserve the right to either dispose of them or include them in Sendbacks as appropriate.
To avoid delays, we strongly recommend creating a Restocking Shipment with all the SKUs on the Hive App immediately after placing an order with your supplier and forwarding the Restocking Shipment label to your supplier to ensure it is attached to the shipment.
Additionally, any extra labor required to sort shipments that deviate from the guidelines will be charged at the extra task hourly rate stated in your contract.
