Reasons why the carrier failed to deliver the shipments

Depending on the carrier used, 1 to 3 delivery attempts are made before the parcel is placed in the carrier's storage space. Here are some possible reasons the carrier failed to deliver the shipments:

  • The address is incorrect or incomplete
  • Your customer was absent
  • The recipient is "unknown"
  • Your customer rejected the parcel
  • Your customer did not have cash available for a COD ("cash on delivery") payment
