If you have dangerous goods, or believe that your goods could qualify as such, please follow the following steps before sending the goods to Hive:
- Reach out to your suppliers to ask for the Safety Data Sheet's (SDS) in the language of the fulfillment center where you are planning to ship your goods from. If you will be storing the goods and shipping them from France, for example, the SDS should be in French.
- If your goods have batteries, you will also require a Test38.3 document from your supplier, please request this.
- As soon as you have the two documents above, please reach out to your Growth Manager or create a ticket for Customer Support where you share the document(s) and provide all the information listed here. Alternatively, you can directly place a request on your end by filling out this form.
- Once Hive has received the information, we will process the request in two weeks, where we will determine:
- If your goods can be stored in the desired fulfillment centers
- What carrier<>destination combinations can be used to ship your goods
- If any additional label (UN3480, UN3481 etc.) is required
- Once determined, we will reach out to you, sharing the setup. If additional labelling is required, we will need you to create an SKU on your side with the following format:
- Brand Name + Label number — Example: Hive Test Brand UN3481 Label
- Then, an Add-on rule will be created, and the stock will be moved to your SKU automatically so that the required labels are attached in order to ship your shipments compliantly. Bear in mind, that the add-on rule will have a cost of €0.20, covering the sourcing of the sticker, and the picks and attachment to the shipment.
