Returns occasionally arrive at the fulfillment center without information to link them to a specific order, typically due to the following scenarios:
- The carrier has covered the original shipping label, making it impossible to retrieve the original order information.
- The order was repackaged during shipment, resulting in missing information required to link the return to an order.
- The return is associated with an order that was not initially fulfilled by Hive.
In such cases, the SKUs within the parcel will be processed according to your established return rules. This means that damaged items may be disposed of, while others may be added to Sendbacks or restocked based on your return rules.
If there are units in good condition suitable for restocking, an automatic Restocking Shipment will be generated. This shipment will include all unidentifiable returns along with SKUs designated for restocking.
