What is the difference between dangerous goods and hazardous goods?
Updated
Hazardous substances are classified based on their potential health effects, whether immediate or long-term. They're often used in the workplace and can be solids, liquids, or gases. Hazards can include being toxic, corrosive, flammable, explosive, or chemically reactive.
Dangerous goods, on the other hand, are substances or materials capable of posing significant risk to health, safety, or property during transportation due to their physical or chemical properties. They can be categorized into nine classes (and several subcategories) including explosives, gases, flammable liquids, flammable solids, oxidizing substances, toxic and infectious substances, radioactive material, corrosives, and miscellaneous dangerous substances.
